With the current health recommendations, all of our Group and Private training classes are Zoom video training through May 4th (in accordance with the WA State mandate). When can I start group classes?

Rally and Heeling Games classes are offered with open enrollment.  New students can start anytime that there is a spot available in class.  

CGC Combo and Therapy Dog Prep classes are offered as a course for a specified number of weeks. 

Trick Dog is offered as mini private classes during our Trick Dog Spectaculars in June and December.

How do I register?

For Group Classes:

  • Go to our Online Booking page and purchase a single class or our discounted package of classes.
  • Apply your package to the classes of your choice!  You are welcome to try both training locations, and try our Rally, Heeling Games, and Trick Dog classes.  
  • Students in our CGC Combo and Therapy Dog Prep classes benefit from enrolling for the entire length of each course.  This provides the best chance for passing those evaluations!

For Private Classes:

  • New clients - Select Initial Private Class on our Online Booking page.
  • Returning clients - Select Ongoing Private class for a single class or our discounted package of classes.
  • Register for a client account on your client scheduling page.


For all classes:

  • Register for a client account when the option appears as you purchase a class or package. This allows you to:
    • Bypass any forms you have already filled out when scheduling future appointments.
    • Sign in to your client scheduling page to reschedule or cancel existing appointments.
    • View all upcoming and past appointments that have been scheduled while logged into their account.
    • See any active class packages and how many classes remain to be used.

To do our best to ensure that only healthy dogs attend our classes, all new students need to provide your dog's current vaccine/titer and recent fecal test record.  Thank you for your help!

What should I bring to class?

  • Portable crate or use your car.  No unsecured dogs are allowed.
  • Your dog on a 3 to 6-foot leash and a buckle/martingale collar or harness.  No Flexi/extendable leashes are allowed.
  • LOTS of small, high-value treats that your dog loves that is easy for them to eat and does not crumble.  At least two different types in separate containers work well.

What if I need to miss a class?

  • If you would like to cancel a class you have registered for we require a minimum of 48-hour notice so that we can offer the spot to another team.  Cancellations (other than for medical reasons) less than 48 hours are not refunded.
  • We ask that dogs in-season not attend class until they are finished. 
  • Keep any sick or suspected sick dog at home until they feel better and are cleared by your vet to return to classes. Should your dog appear sick in class, you will be asked to take your dog home.

Fees and Class Policies


Fees for Group Classes

  • Drop-In for a single class with instructor permission for $30 per class
  • Purchase a discounted package of six (6) classes for $150 ($25/class) to be used within three months from the date of purchase for our group classes.

Fees for Private Classes

  • Initial Private 1 1/2 hour class for $150
  • Ongoing Private class for $100/hr
  • Discounted package of four (4) private classes for $380 ($95/hr) to be used within three months from the date of purchase.

Payment options

  • We accept cash, check, credit cards, and online payments such as PayPal and Google Wallet. 
  • Payment is due at or before your first class.
  • Returned or NSF checks are subject to a $30.00 bank processing fee. 
  • Refunds will only be issued if Diana Simonsen Dog Training cancels class, or for medical issues.

Class policies and procedures

Our group classes are limited to six teams (unless otherwise stated) for maximum training time and instruction.  

You are responsible for the actions of your dog. Dogs must be on a leash at all times unless otherwise instructed by Diana Simonsen. Click on our Service Agreement for more details.
