About Us

Background

Diana has been actively participating in dog sports for more than a decade, devoting her time to training, competing, and teaching. She is known for her unwavering patience, dedication as an instructor, and ardent support for positive, force-free dog training.

In the Ring

Diana and her dogs have earned several Obedience and Rally titles in both the American Kennel Club (AKC) and United Kennel Club (UKC). Despite facing behavioral challenges, her first dog rose to become the 21st German Shepherd to earn the AKC (Rally Advanced Excellent) RAE2 title. Moreover, this talented pup was ranked in the Front & Finish Top Ten German Shepherds in AKC Rally for four years.

Diana enjoys stewarding obedience and rally shows and also enjoys judging Rally Fun Matches and 4-H competitions. She is currently working towards meeting the qualifications to become an AKC Rally and Obedience Judge.

Outside the Ring

Diana has been actively involved in volunteering for Therapy Dog International (TDI) as a part of their Therapy Dog program. Her visits to various Assisted Living facilities have brought joy to many residents.

Additionally, she has also volunteered for the Washington German Shepherd Rescue, where she has adopted dogs and provided them with a loving home. Diana has also helped rescue dogs by conducting home checks, fostering them, and transporting them to safety.

Along with her husband, Diana shares her home with two adorable German Shepherds, a nine-year-old named Valen and a two-year-old named Naia.

How We Train

Diana and Tyra competing in Rally Obedience at the Washington German Shepherd Dog Club show.

We use force-free, positive-reinforcement-based training to help you:

  • Build a good relationship with your dog.
  • Teach your dog better alternatives to unwanted behaviors.
  • Reduce frustration by setting you and your dog up for success.
  • Benefit from up-to-date, modern learning theory from a certified trainer.

How does it work?

Diana can assist you in simplifying and easing the process of training your dog to exhibit the desired behavior. Our team implements the latest dog training methods, devoid of physical corrections or aversives, to achieve the results you desire. Moreover, when dealing with dogs that may be anxious or fearful, we utilize low-stress techniques that are safe and effective in modifying their behavior.

Does it work? Yes! Will we support you every step of the way? Absolutely!

We strive to uphold ethical and compassionate training practices that go beyond just your furry friend. As we guide you through the training journey, rest assured that we will provide positive, expert, and courteous assistance.
